Let's take this unique opportunity to reorganize all of our state resource agencies on a watershed (drainage basin) basis. Most of the agencies are beginning to organize their databases in this manner because of the efficiencies achieved by doing so in comparison to political boundaries (i.e., parishes, cities). We can then have government efforts coordinated through the basin, which is most approriate.
