Had any "popcorn" shrimp lately? They don't taste bad, they just don't taste at all. I'd rather have 4 fresh Louisiana shrimp, cooked any way you like, than 40 "popcorn" shrimp....and I'd pay a premium to have them. Let's market our seafood like the French market wine and the Italians market vinegar. Let's copyright a name (e.g. cajun, louisiana, america's wetland, etc.) for our products and market it as the premium product it is. Make it an extravagence, a delicacy.
