We need to change our focus. The nation has tired of our plight. We all would in their situation. We need to change the playing field. We don't need the Federal Government to bail us out. We will do it ourselves. Just give us our fair share of offshore Oil & Gas revenues (see my previous posting). Let us have our money and we'll fix our state. The O&G companies back it, both parties of our state and federal representatives and senators support it. We have a consensus for the first time in generations and a plan to dramatically improve our state. Appeal to the national public, media, and legislators. We are united and can take care of ourselves, just give us our money like every other state with offshore O&G activities.
